Different Wedding Styles

A wedding is the ceremony in which two people are united in marriage or a similar institution. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. Most wedding ceremonies include an exchange of wedding vows by th eouple, presentation of a gift(offering rings, symbolic item, flowers, money, wedding marquee), and a public proclamation of marriage by an authority figure or leader, thus, to create a romantic and wonderful wedding atmosphere. Special wedding garments are often worn, and the ceremony is sometimes followed by a wedding reception. Music, poetry, prayers or readings from religious texts or literature are also commonly incorporated into the ceremony. Different wedding styles show different atmosphere.

Weddings are joyous occasions and are usually celebrated with great pomp and show. However, the idea of pomp and splender is sometimes taken to another level by those who know how to do it in style, and can afford it. When we see the gradeur of royal or celebrity weddings, we are simply left speechless. There are some celebrity weddings that are noted for their luxury, extravagance and exceptional style.

Roy spent a whopping $128 million for the wedding of his sons in 2004. Over 11,000 guest, all the top politicians and bureaucrats of India were invited to a wedding that was nothing short of an extravaganza. As a part of the occasion, food was distributed to more than 100,000 homeless people all over the country.

But as for me,  I prefer the funny wedding, which full of joy and happiness. Of course, if we follow the conventional ideas of a wedding, then it is supposed to be sensuous, eternal, glamorous and in sync with traditions. We barely imagine a wedding to be funny or comical, isn't it? A wedding blended with humorous themes is rather unique. With so many options in hand you can laugh your heart out in your wedding ceremony. The day will be memorable forever when you make merry with your prospective bird/groom and the guests present there. Elements of fun when harmonized with traditions would indeed be a great idea for making the W-day extraordinary.
